I just want to say a HUGE thank you all for the amazing support you’ve showed me on this tour. It’s been bloody fantastic. I’ve had an absolute ball and like I said in the show if I keep getting this kind of reaction I’m gonna keep coming back because what you gave me is what every entertainer strives for - so thank you!
Also a giant thanks to the band…what a fantastic band I have…and to my hard working touring staff and crew – my sincere thanks to you also.
I look forward to relaxing for a while with a bottle of red or two and reminiscing over the last two wonderful months.
Till we meet again…
Cheers
John Farnham
Undercover reviews John Farnham at the Palais.
"If you have not been to one of these shows, you could not imagine how good John and the band is. You could also not believe how many hits this guy had either. For one hour and 40 minutes, he only performed hits. You knew every song. He was tossing in number one singles in the first half of the show. How many acts can do that?
So we haven’t had John around for a while. There was a bit of catching up to fill us all in on. For starters, he says he has hardly sung in the last three years, not even in the shower. Mind you, he did then offer to jump into the shower and sing with a very nice looking blond in the front row. (And no I don’t mean Wheatley).
There was something about his manager Glenn Wheatley not being around for some of that time. Sorry, I don’t read the tabloids so I have no idea what you were talking about there John."

John proves he is the voice - again
In case you missed it, John brought the house down at the "Barossa Under the Stars concert" series. The Herald said - "There was no pressure down on vocalist John Farnham at Saturday night’s Barossa Under the Stars concert at the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre. The excellent crowd of just over 8000 were spellbound as Farnham demonstrated, yet again, he is ‘the voice’ of the Australian entertainment industry."

And Adelaide Now says "``Yeah that's right - another bloody comeback!'' declared the 60-year-old, not long into a show that went just over 80 minutes and included a good slice of his repertoire. About 9000 turned up on a cool evening, rugged up and warmed by the local wines, as Farnham paused only to tell jokes - mostly at his own expense, but including a few about his mate and manager Glenn Wheatley, jailed for tax evasion in 2007. Wearing a grin for almost the entire show, Farnham joked that Wheatley had been ``away,'' while he'd been ``in a restaurant'' for the past three years of semi-retirement, evidenced by his growing girth." He's the Voice - Perth reviews John
As the "Live by Demand" tour rolls on, the praises keep coming in. In Perth review for "TheWest" Ara Jansen wrote, "What's surprising and exciting is that the 60-year-old's voice has still got it and might just be getting better with age." She added "The media can be jaded about his endless retire and return cycle but this audience was ecstatic that Whispering jack was back. They laughed, sang, clapped, danced and even cheered the numerous mentions of his manager and long-time friend Glenn Wheatley." What are your reviews, what have you enjoyed about the shows and what were your own highlights - just comment and let everyone know.
